Wall Springs Park is a 209-acre county park just east of the trail near Palm Harbor, built around a natural sulphur spring that was a popular swimming and bottling site in the late 1800s. The historic springhouse remains, though swimming is no longer allowed; the spring instead feeds a series of pools and a small lagoon that opens onto the Brooker Creek estuary.
A short boardwalk leads out to an observation tower with views over Boggy Bayou and St. Joseph Sound. The park is quiet, free, and a good place to break a long ride for a picnic. Manatees occasionally appear in the bayou in winter.
