Outdoor history museum with native wildlife and cypress swamp

An outdoor living history museum on 52 acres in the southwest part of the city, with a reconstructed 1880s farm, native wildlife exhibits, and elevated boardwalks through a cypress swamp. The animals — Florida panther, red wolf, white-tailed deer — are all native species that cannot be released into the wild. It's a better introduction to the natural environment of north Florida than most formal natural history museums, and the swamp boardwalk alone is worth the admission.
