Lionheart Theatre Company is a community theatre based in Norcross's historic downtown that has earned a reputation considerably above the usual local theatre standard. The company produces a full season of plays each year — musicals, dramas, comedies — using a mix of professional directors and locally talented performers. The space is intimate and the productions consistently achieve a level of craft that rivals professional regional theatre.
For visitors who happen to be in Norcross during a run, an evening at Lionheart is worth considering — the ticket prices are modest and the experience is genuinely good. The theatre is housed in a building on the town green, making it easy to combine with dinner at one of the restaurants nearby in the historic district.
