Wild Adventures is a combined theme park and water park on the south side of Valdosta, and it's the main reason families choose to stop here rather than push on to Florida. The rides are modest by major-park standards — this isn't Six Flags — but the scale is right for a half-day, and the water park section is a genuine relief in Georgia's summer heat. There are also live animal exhibits and a small zoo component. Admission prices are reasonable compared to Florida's big parks. Check seasonal hours before visiting; the park runs reduced schedules outside of summer and school holidays, and sometimes closes mid-week in the off season.
