Dierkes Lake Park is a local swimming and recreation area near Shoshone Falls. The small oxbow lake sits in the Snake River Canyon landscape and is popular in summer for swimming, picnics, and an easy add-on to the falls.
It is not as dramatic as Shoshone Falls or the canyon viewpoints, but it is a pleasant nearby stop if you want a slower outdoor break around Twin Falls.
