Cedar Sink is a short Mammoth Cave-area trail leading down into a large sinkhole where a sinking river appears at the bottom. The route is only about a mile, but the stairs make the return climb more demanding than the distance suggests.
It is a good stop for seeing the park's karst landscape above ground, especially for visitors who want more than the cave tours.
