Guntown Mountain is Cave City's old western-themed hilltop attraction, reached by chairlift or shuttle when operating. Its mix of saloon shows, staged gunfights, music, cave tours, petting-farm elements, and haunted-house kitsch is very much part of the Mammoth Cave roadside tradition.
Opening patterns have changed over the years, so check current hours before planning around it. If it is open, it is a family-oriented stop best treated as light entertainment rather than a historic site.
