A small, leafy commercial district about 2 miles south of downtown and adjacent to the University of Kentucky campus. Concentrated along Euclid and High Street, Chevy Chase has the densest stretch of bars, casual restaurants, and student-oriented shops in the city. Less polished than downtown but more energetic, particularly on University of Kentucky basketball game nights when every bar fills with blue-clad fans.
