Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) is 10 miles south of downtown, with direct flights to most major US hubs. A cab or rideshare to downtown takes 20–30 minutes depending on traffic and costs around $25–35. There is no train service — Amtrak does not serve Louisville. Greyhound buses connect to Cincinnati (90 minutes), Indianapolis (two hours), and Nashville (three hours). By car, Louisville sits at the junction of I-65 (running north to Indianapolis and south to Nashville) and I-64 (running east to Lexington and west to St. Louis).
