A butcher shop and Cajun specialty foods counter on the west side of town. Locals come for the boudin and the stuffed pork chops — chops butterflied, packed with crawfish dressing or boudin, ready to throw on the grill. The plate-lunch counter does rotating daily specials: smothered chicken on Tuesdays, white beans and shrimp on Fridays.
Eat in or take away. The deli case is worth a long study if you have a kitchen — cracklins, hogshead cheese, andouille, tasso.
