Port Bakery is a small, unpretentious bakery cafe a short walk from Dock Square — the kind of place that does a few things well without any fanfare. The coffee is good, the pastries are made in-house (the croissants and fruit tarts are reliable), and there's a handful of seats inside. On summer mornings it fills early with people who know that the rest of Dock Square doesn't come alive until later.
It's the right stop before a beach morning or before the tourist traffic starts. Nothing elaborate; straightforward quality.
