The Broadway Market at the foot of Broadway in Fells Point is one of Baltimore's oldest public markets, operating on this site since the 1780s. The southern market building has been renovated into a small food hall with a handful of vendors. The Saturday farmers market that sets up along the Broadway pier on weekend mornings is the more dynamic version — seasonal produce, local honey, prepared foods, and coffee from the surrounding neighbourhood's independent businesses.
The market is the heart of Fells Point's waterfront, and combining it with a walk along Thames Street makes for a good morning. The water taxi dock nearby gives access to the rest of the harbour.
