Baltimore has a depth of things to do that most visitors don't expect. The Inner Harbor draws the crowds and the National Aquarium is genuinely excellent, but the city's real strengths are its art museums, its historic waterfront, its neighbourhood character, and its absolute commitment to crab. Allow at least three days to scratch the surface.
