Cumberland's dining scene is small but solid, concentrated along Baltimore Street and Centre Street. Expect Appalachian-meets-Mid-Atlantic — meat-and-three diners, a couple of decent pubs, a coal-region pizza tradition, and a growing handful of more ambitious restaurants riding the GAP-cyclist tourism wave.
Look for western Maryland kielbasa (the local Polish-immigrant version is its own thing), mountain trout, and crab cakes — Cumberland is far inland, but Maryland is Maryland.
