Hedge House

Hedge House, formally the Antiquarian Society House, is a sea captain's house preserved as a small historic museum. It gives Plymouth another scale of history beyond the waterfront monuments: domestic rooms, local collections, and the story of a prosperous nineteenth-century port town.

Tours are usually tied to appointments or special events, so check before building a day around it. If it is open, it is an easy addition to a walk that already includes Burial Hill, Plymouth Rock, Mayflower II, and the old waterfront.
