Old County Courthouse & Museum

The Old County Courthouse is a small but rewarding stop in Plymouth's historic core. Built in 1749, it is believed to be the oldest wooden courthouse in the United States and stands on the site of the town's first courthouse from 1620.

Inside, the museum puts Plymouth's civic history into a more local frame than the Mayflower sites nearby. It works best as part of a walk between Burial Hill, Town Brook, and the waterfront.
