The Salem Arts Association shows rotating work by North Shore artists in a historic building dating from the 1650s. Exhibitions change often, so it is a good small stop if you want something quieter than Salem's witch-trial circuit.
The gallery is volunteer-run and also hosts occasional events. Most pieces on display are for sale.
