Ralph's is a Worcester institution — a vintage Worcester Lunch Car diner from the 1940s welded onto a much larger and louder rock bar. By day the diner side serves greasy-spoon breakfast and lunch; by night the back room is one of the city's best small live-music venues, with punk, indie, and hardcore shows running most nights.
The outdoor patio out back stays open all year (with patio heaters and tents in winter), and the burgers and tater tots after a show have a deserved reputation. Casual, scruffy, and very much its own thing. Cash only is preferred but cards accepted.
