Wormtown — slang for Worcester since the punk days of the late 1970s — is the city's flagship craft brewery, started in 2010 in the corner of a defunct Shrewsbury Street hot-dog stand and now operating out of a much bigger taproom and brewhouse a few blocks away. Their best-known beer, Be Hoppy IPA, is on tap across central Massachusetts.
The taproom serves the full range of their beers including small-batch and seasonal releases, plus food from rotating local pop-ups. Open afternoons and evenings, family-friendly until later in the night.
