Downtown Flint has a small but recovering nightlife scene, anchored around the few blocks of Saginaw Street that lie between the Mott Foundation Building and the river. The university crowd keeps a handful of pubs busy through the week; Friday and Saturday nights bring in a wider mix from the suburbs.
Tenacity Brewing on the north side of the river is the local craft brewer; Soggy Bottom Bar and Cork on Saginaw are reliable late-night options. The Capitol Theatre area has a couple of cocktail bars that opened with the theatre's reopening.
