Jackson Street Roundhouse is a railroad museum in a former working roundhouse north of downtown St. Paul. Historic locomotives and rolling stock are displayed, restored, and maintained here, giving the place more workshop atmosphere than a static museum.
Families and rail fans come for the train cars, restoration areas, and occasional rides. It pairs well with other St. Paul history stops around the Capitol and Lowertown.
