Gulfport-Biloxi International Airport (GPT) handles regional flights and some direct services to major hubs including Atlanta and Dallas. The airport is about 13 miles west of downtown Biloxi. New Orleans Louis Armstrong International Airport (MSY), about 80 miles west, is the major regional hub with far more flight options.
By road, Highway 90 runs along the Gulf Coast through Biloxi from New Orleans in the west and Mobile in the east — a scenic coastal drive that is considerably slower than Interstate 10, which runs parallel a few miles inland. The Amtrak Sunset Limited passes through Biloxi station on its Los Angeles-to-New Orleans route three times a week in each direction.
