Things to Do

Biloxi's appeal is spread across its history, its beaches, and its casino strip — three things that sit in somewhat uncomfortable proximity along Highway 90. The Biloxi Lighthouse in the middle of the road is the most photographed spot, while Beauvoir — Jefferson Davis's postwar home — sits on a bluff overlooking the sound. The Ohr-O'Keefe Museum of Art is the most architecturally interesting building in the city, designed by Frank Gehry to house the work of Biloxi's most eccentric son.

The Gulf Coast beaches stretch for miles along the coast road and are genuinely pleasant outside the casino zone. The Mississippi Aquarium, which opened in 2020, has become one of the city's better attractions. For the casino scene, Beau Rivage is the flagship — a large MGM-operated resort that also hosts concerts and boxing events.
