College of the Ozarks is more than a campus on the edge of Branson. The school’s work-college model, landscaped grounds, mill, chapel, and small museums make it a useful stop for understanding the Ozarks’ self-reliant craft-and-farm identity.
It is not a thrill ride, which is exactly the point. Come for a slower hour or two between Branson shows and lake outings, and check current visitor access before you go. The campus works best for travellers who enjoy local history, traditional crafts, and institutions with a strong regional story.
