Moss Mansion preserves the home of the Preston Boyd Moss family, one of the big names in early Billings. The house was designed by Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, better known for grand hotels in New York, and it still carries the confidence of that railroad-era wealth.
Inside, the rooms work as a compact house museum; outside, the surrounding historic neighborhood is worth a short self-guided walk.
