Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport (BZN) has grown significantly in recent years and now has direct flights from most major US cities, as well as some international connections. The airport is about 8 miles northwest of downtown; taxis, rideshares, and rental cars are all available.
By road, Bozeman is on Interstate 90, about 140 miles east of Missoula and 140 miles west of Billings. From the south, US 191 connects through the Gallatin Canyon from Yellowstone's west entrance — a spectacular drive of about 90 miles. There is no Amtrak service to Bozeman; the nearest train station is Livingston (25 miles east), which is on the Empire Builder route.
Greyhound buses serve Bozeman from Billings and Missoula.
