Great Falls is built around its waterfalls and its Lewis and Clark heritage. The river bluff drive along River's Edge Trail strings together the Interpretive Center, the falls themselves, and Giant Springs State Park in a single afternoon. Downtown holds the Charlie Russell Museum and a small handful of Cold War-era oddities. Most visitors stop here on the way to Glacier National Park; a day or two does the city justice.
