Incline Village divides its activities cleanly between seasons: winter brings skiing at Diamond Peak just above town, while summer fills Sand Harbor with swimmers, kayakers, and picnickers. The Flume Trail is one of the best mountain-bike routes in the Sierra Nevada and is accessible year-round in good conditions. The town's nine private beaches are for residents and registered guests, but Sand Harbor State Park is open to all.
