Hopkins Center for the Arts

Dartmouth's performing arts complex, opened in 1962, was designed by Wallace Harrison — who went on to lead the design team for Lincoln Center in New York, which opened the following year and bears a striking resemblance. The "Hop" hosts theatre, dance, film, and concerts in multiple venues and brings in consistently strong programming for a town this size. The film series is particularly good. Check the schedule online before you visit — there is almost always something worth seeing.
