Church of Our Lady of Grace

The Church of Our Lady of Grace is a substantial Gothic Revival brick church a block off Washington Street, built between 1874 and 1876 for the city's Irish Catholic community. Twin spires, a rose window, and an interior with cathedral-scaled vaulting make it the most architecturally serious building in central Hoboken.

The church is still active and open during service times. Sinatra was christened here in 1915 — a small plaque inside marks the baptismal font. Modest dress expected if you visit during a mass.
