Grants sits on I-40 between Albuquerque and Gallup, about an hour from either town. Most visitors arrive by car. Bus service is available via Greyhound. The Continental Divide National Scenic Trail and the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route both pass through town for the self-propelled.
