Forte sits on West Third Street, a few steps from the Lucy-Desi Museum and a short walk from the National Comedy Center. The menu is upscale American — pan-seared scallops, dry-aged steaks, a couple of pasta options — with a serious wine list that leans into the local Lake Erie and Finger Lakes wineries.
The dining room is intimate, with exposed brick, low lighting, and a long bar that's a decent place to eat alone. Reservations are essential on summer weekends when comedy festival crowds fill the city. One of the few places in Jamestown for a proper sit-down evening meal.
