Getting There

Jamestown sits in the far southwestern corner of New York State, off Interstate 86 (the Southern Tier Expressway). The closest large airports are Buffalo Niagara International (about 110 km / 70 miles north, around 90 minutes by car) and Pittsburgh International (about 240 km / 150 miles southwest, two and a half hours). Erie, Pennsylvania, is about an hour west.

Jamestown has a small regional airport (JHW) with a single daily United Express service to Washington Dulles, useful mainly for business travellers. Most visitors drive in. There is no passenger rail or scheduled intercity bus into Jamestown proper.
