Di Fara Pizza

Midwood pizza institution run by the DeMarco family since 1965 — New York's most argued-over slice

Di Fara is a small pizza counter in the Midwood neighbourhood of Brooklyn where Domenico DeMarco has been making pies by hand since 1965. He snips fresh basil over each pie with scissors and drizzles imported olive oil. The resulting Neapolitan-influenced square and round slices are consistently cited alongside a handful of others as the best in New York. The queue is part of the experience; cash only.
