Enoteca Maria is a small restaurant on Hyatt Street in St. George where the kitchen is run by nonnas — grandmothers from different countries who take turns cooking the food of their homelands. On any given night the menu might be Italian, Armenian, Greek, Syrian, Polish or Moroccan, depending on which nonnas are cooking. The concept became internationally famous after press coverage in the early 2010s; reservations are essential. The restaurant is a five-minute walk from the St. George Ferry Terminal.
