Top of the Rock Observation Deck sits on the upper floors of 30 Rockefeller Plaza, with open views north over Central Park and south across Midtown Manhattan.
The deck is one of New York's classic skyline viewpoints. It is especially useful for first-time visitors because the view includes the Empire State Building rather than standing on top of it, and the multiple outdoor levels make it easier to move around than many enclosed observation decks.
