Jungle Rapids is a sight that gives Wilmington visitors another angle on the place, especially if you have already covered the obvious landmarks. It is the kind of stop that works best when you are building a slower day around a neighbourhood, a park, or a cluster of nearby sights rather than racing through a checklist.
It is not necessarily the first thing to do in Wilmington, but it can be a worthwhile addition for travellers with a little extra time. Check current access and opening details before setting out, especially outside the main season.
