Scioto Trail State Park sits south of Chillicothe in wooded hill country, with hiking and bridle trails, fishing, hunting, and quiet lake scenery. It is more of an outdoors stop than a polished attraction, but it gives travellers a good reason to leave town for a half day in the woods.
