Seip Earthworks is one of the major Hopewell ceremonial sites near Chillicothe, with remnants of large geometric earthworks and mounds set in the Paint Valley. The scale is easiest to grasp with a map or interpretive material, because time and farming have softened what was once a highly ordered ritual landscape.
