Hamilton is a car-dependent city in the American Midwest. Downtown and the Dayton Lane neighborhood are walkable from each other, but Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park is about 4 miles southwest of downtown and requires a car. The Great Miami River Trail provides a bicycle path through the city, connecting several neighborhoods.
Butler County Regional Transit Authority (BCRTA) operates bus service within the city, but for practical sightseeing purposes a car is necessary.
