Hamilton is a year-round destination, though the outdoor attractions are best visited in spring or fall. Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park is particularly pleasant from April through October when the grounds are accessible and the landscape is at its most varied.
Summer brings outdoor concerts at Pyramid Hill and events along the riverfront. The Dayton Lane neighborhood runs its annual house tour in spring — usually May — when you can see the interiors of homes that are otherwise private. Winters are cold and occasionally snowy, though the courthouse and downtown historic district are worth visiting any time of year.
