Imagination Station

Imagination Station is the riverfront science museum housed in the squat post-modern building on the Maumee. It opened in 1997 as COSI Toledo, was rescued from bankruptcy by community fundraising in 2008, and reopened with the current name as a hands-on, three-floor children's science museum.

There are over 300 exhibits ranging from a tornado simulator to a high-wire bicycle ride and an Industries area with working demonstrations of glass-blowing and steel-rolling, the city's two old trades. It's the obvious place to take children for a half-day in Toledo, particularly in winter. Admission around 16-20 USD; closed Mondays.
