Worthington is 12 miles north of downtown Columbus and is easily reached by car via Interstate 270 (exit at Route 161/Dublin-Granville Road) or by driving north on High Street from Columbus. The trip from downtown Columbus takes about 20 minutes outside rush hour; budget 40 minutes in heavy traffic.
By public transit, the COTA bus system runs routes along High Street connecting Columbus and Worthington. Service is adequate for reaching the historic district but infrequent enough that you should check the schedule in advance. There is no direct service from Columbus's John Glenn International Airport to Worthington; rent a car or take a rideshare for the most straightforward connection.
