Old Central

Old Central is the symbolic heart of Oklahoma State University. Its red-brick Victorian form is small beside the modern campus, but it carries the weight of the university's earliest years.

Stop here on any campus walk. It gives Stillwater's college-town identity a physical starting point and pairs naturally with the library lawn and nearby academic buildings.

Old Central predates Oklahoma statehood and is the oldest building on the Oklahoma State University campus. It began as the college's first permanent academic building, back when the institution was still Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College.
