Bucks County is most famous in autumn, and Buckingham is no exception. October brings peak foliage, farm festivals at None Such Farm, the Apple Festival at Peddler's Village, and hayrides through the township. The roads are at their most picturesque — and most crowded.
Spring is the quietest and most pleasant time: the dogwoods and cherry trees along the country lanes flower in April, and the farms reopen after winter. Summer is hot and humid by mid-July, though the Buckingham Mountain trails stay shaded. December brings Christmas lighting competitions and a Christmas tree market at None Such Farm. The San Sebastian fiesta in January makes midwinter bearable; in Buckingham, the counterpart is a quieter season good for antique browsing with no weekend crowds.
