Buckingham is a wandering-and-stopping kind of place. Drive the country roads, pull off at the old Quaker meeting houses, walk the trails on Buckingham Mountain, browse the shops at Peddler's Village. The Buckingham Friends Meeting House at the bend of Route 202 is the oldest building still in regular use in the township, and Bogart's Tavern down the road has been pouring drinks since 1796.
In autumn, the township hosts pumpkin sales, hayrides, and farm tours at None Such Farm and Solebury Orchards just up the road. In December, the Lakeshore Drive houses go in for serious Christmas lighting. The county fair grounds at nearby Tinicum host the Bucks County Wine Trail festivals in spring and autumn.
