Poor Richard's is an unpretentious downtown pub on Spruce Street, a few minutes from Courthouse Square. The food is straightforward bar fare — burgers, wings, a respectable fish-fry on Fridays — and the beer list is short but covers a couple of decent local breweries.
Fans of The Office know the place from the credits sequence, and a small wall of signed photos and Office-themed memorabilia plays to that crowd. But it's also a working neighbourhood pub with a strong local lunch crowd, which keeps it from tipping into novelty. Open late by Scranton standards.
