Providence is well-connected by both rail and air.
By train: Amtrak's Northeast Regional and Acela stop at Providence Station, 100 Gaspee Street, a short walk from downtown. Boston is 45 minutes away; New York Penn Station is about 3 hours. The train is usually the most convenient option from either city.
By air: T.F. Green Airport (PVD) in Warwick, about 10 miles south of downtown, handles most flights into the area. It's smaller and easier than Boston Logan for many routes. A taxi or rideshare from the airport to downtown takes 20–25 minutes; the MBTA commuter rail also connects the airport to Providence Station.
By bus: Peter Pan and Greyhound serve Providence from New York, Boston, and other New England cities. The bus stop is at Kennedy Plaza downtown.
