Rugby has one restaurant. The Harrow Road Café, in the village centre, serves three meals a day: country breakfasts, lunch sandwiches, Welsh rarebit at the British end of the menu, and dinners of trout, pot roast, and shepherd's pie. The room is small and the porch is the place to sit in good weather.
Hours contract in winter. Reservations are sensible at weekends. For anything more, drive 30 minutes to Wartburg or Jamestown.
