Lynchburg Regional Airport (LYH) has flights to several major hubs. Amtrak's Crescent and Piedmont lines stop at Kemper Street station downtown. By road, Lynchburg is about 50 miles east of Roanoke via US-460, and about 110 miles west of Richmond via US-60 or US-501. The Blue Ridge Parkway is accessible within about a 30-minute drive.
